In this study Dr. Gino was not involved in the data collection or data analyses for the article. She was involved in the conceptualization and design phase and provided comments and edits for the manuscript.

The data for this project was collected from January to May 2017 by Dr. Clara Amato supervising two research assistants (M.S. Stani and M. Pellegrini).  Specifically, Dr. Clara Amato and the two RA conducted the experiment with children. Children's decisions were written on paper and the raw data was entered into an excel file by the two RA together.

Dr. Montinari took care of the analysis for the article.
